May is for Mutants!

Using a superhero mutant theme this month for some practice pieces. Starting out with the X-Men, the comic that got me into comics back in the day and are still my favorite... I'll move on to some other mutant characters later in the month (if I can keep this up!)
Thanks for checking 'em out!

Another speedpaint, this one of Bobby Drake, aka Iceman! This one started out as a character sketch but ended up as more of a story piece. His clothes and look are based on the Bachalo/Ramos run of Uncanny X-Men a couple years back.

Hopefully I will get a chance to tighten a few of these up to 'finished' later!

Ninja & Geisha

Feeling a bit rusty after a couple months without life drawing class. Here's a few marker sketches from this past Monday night at e3rd... Sara Streeter as the Geisha and Michael Wood as the Ninja. You may recognize them from some of my earlier posts. Great poses from both models!
